To only allow fully trained managers, and mechanics to form part of our team. We endeavor to motivate all of our staff so that coming to work is a pleasure and not a job. The workshops within the Carmile stable must be maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.

The founder of Carmile, Chris Joubert, passed away on 22 November 2008.

Chris had a proven industry track record as the co-founder of Car Service City back in September 2004, which led to a partnership that same year, and his duties included the expansion of the business, by opening branches countrywide.

The partnership later dissolved which freed to pursue his dream of opening and expanding his own business, which led to the birth of "Carmile."

As a formally (and informally) trained mechanic with years of experience, as Workshop Manager at Cartime, BNS Auto Clinic, Car Service City and Carmile, Chris ensured that all branches adhered to the policies and the intrinsic values of the Company. He personally trained the Branch Managers, keeping up-to-date with every aspect of the business, and inspected every branch himself, to ensure that high standards of service were maintained.

With his passing, we've kept his example in mind at all times, and the new General Manager of Carmile, Corrie Scheepers, is committed to maintaining Chris’s legacy.
